Should I? DateJust With Custom Non Factory Dial

Hi forum!

Hope and trust you are well. I needed some advice on a potential new buy. I've recently developed a liking to steel and gold - two tone.

Im looking at a watch I've found. Reliable seller but comes with no box or papers. keeping good time. A DateJust 160XX with a custom non original strap (leather) but more importantly a Black Onyx Dial. I like the dial a great deal but wonder if it's actually worth buying since it's not original to the watch.

The other option is to use that money and get a Tudor BlackBay Dark or even a S&G tho ideally I don't want to spend more money.

Any advice? Thinking down the line if I ever need to sell etc.
