Datejust dial in 1500 (34mm) case

hi all

After buying a lovely 1960s 6516 Lady Date for my wife as a Christmas present last year (sourced via TRF, no less), I've a hankering for a vintage (late 1960s) DateJust and I was intrigued by this watch - it appears to be a 1500 watch with 1560 movement, but has Datejust on the dial.

I'm presuming it's a redial, but wondered if there ever was a 34mm DateJust dial, or if someone has printed Datejust on a dial that would otherwise have said simply, Date.
What does everyone else think?

I'm not sure about the hands either - any ideas as to where they're from?

thanks!
Ewan
