Wall of Clocks
A man died and went to heaven for living a good life where he helped others, served his country, told the truth, attended church services, and give to his community. He loved with all his heart. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks. He asked, "What are all those clocks for?"
St. Peter answered, "Oh, yea, those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has one. Each time you tell a lie, no matter how small, the hands on the clock will move." "Oh," said the man, "Whose clock is that?" "That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, not even a single inch, indicating that she has never told a lie." "Incredible," said the man. "...and whose clock is that?" St. Peter said, "That is Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved only twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies throughout his lifetime." A little nervous, the kind man asks, "Can you please show me my wife's clock?" St. Peter replied, "Actually, her clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan!"
