First Rolex - OP 36 or Sub?

Personally, I would (and did) go with the Sub.

I bought a 114060 for my first Rolex, after considering many other options, and finally choosing it over the Datejust. Years later, I couldn’t be happier! It’s still my daily watch. And I don’t think it looks too big on your wrist. The only other question I would ask is what environment you’re mostly going to wear it in. If it’s dressier or more formal attire, that would make a difference. I wear shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops every day, so the Sub made more sense for me. Either way, good luck on your decision!
