Question about NY RSC

My 2 yr warranty is almost up, and I have noticed my second hand (on my daytona) does not reset exactly to zero. It might be nothing, but I want it checked out while I am under warranty none the less. I also noticed the time is a little slower than usual.

My question is, since I work about 20 blocks from the NY RSC on 5th ave can I just walk in unannounced and drop my watch off? Or do I need to call in and make an appt? Do I need my warranty papers or will they know my warranty status via serial number?

Ive been there before to take the green sticker off of my caseback and they did not mention anything, but maybe this is a little different.

Thanks in advance!
