Datejust 41 slowing down
I am sending my Datejust 41 to Dallas this week. It is under warranty as it is only 3 months old. Does anyone have any experience with a new watch getting slower and slower? At first I thought it just needed to be regulated. Now, it has gone from -2 seconds per day to -8 seconds per day. Just curious if anyone on here knows about the inner workings of the movement. It seems like something is more wrong than just needing a screw turned to regulate.
Of course, I will hear the answer from Dallas in a couple weeks, but some people on here seem to have a pretty good understanding of these things so I thought I would throw this out there. Thanks. |
