Service of modern Rolex watches

Hey guys it’s been a long time since I have been on here. I guess life with kids and work just gets hectic. Hope all you guys are well.

Had a quick question for owners of Rolex watches from the modern era. So I own 3 ceramics LVC, LNC and a BLNR. I believe the LNC is out warranty now and will most likely need service in the next 2-3 years.

Have any of you guys used a watch maker to service your modern Rolex watches and if so what was your experience like?

There is a local watch shop here that does all the warranty work for Omega and they have been in business for over 40 years. I sent my wife’s DJ there and the service was good. However when I talked to ROLEX they mentioned that the newer subs and GMT watches should come back to them something to do with the ceramic inserts and polishing.

The cost to service the watch is almost double what my local watch maker will charge me. Wanted to ask the opinion of the members here if this is worth it.
