I think the only models you can make some profit on are Daytona C, Sky-D Blue, and the 2018 GMTs (for now). All other models... you really won't make any money.
Several months ago, I thought about buying a Sky-D white dial. Without seeing one in person, I thought maybe I can flip it to make some money, if I don't like it. I called the few big trusted sellers on the forum. The most I was offered was sticker price and that is if the watch still have stickers on.
