An homage to the 1954 GMT?
It just hit me than the new Tudor GMT Pepsi is really an homage to the very first Rolex GMT which if I am not mistaking came out in 1954 ish. Kind of interesting to see it started without any crown guards. I also learned recently, that until the early sixties?, the cyclope was an option on any models, one reason once in a while a vintage submariner date comes up for sale without a cyclops... Of course the first gmt was also available with or without the controversial cyclops.
