I could no longer resist the DJ36 (INCOMING)

A couple of days ago I reluctantly tried on a DJ36 for the first time. To my surprise, I loved the way it looked on the wrist and how it wore. I've been daydreaming about it ever since.

Today I went to a local AD, intent on buying the 116234 with silver dial, mainly for the fluted bezel. But for whatever reason, the smooth bezel really sang to me today, so here's the newest member of the family -- a 116200 with silver dial.

The sunburst dial is really stunning in the flesh, and the watch fits and wears perfectly. I wish I'd come around to really appreciate the classic DJ36 sooner.
