Is AD SS Rolex stock at an all time low?
It certainly seems to be in SE Asia.
I was in Hong Kong last week and poked my nose into several dealers, both AD and grey.* At the ADs, the lack of stock was astonishing; all that was available was DJs and PM. However, the greys had pretty much whatever you wanted. However, what I found absolutely staggering was a used Milgauss at HK$ 13,400 above retail (UK£ 1,300 / US$2,340). At the boutique at HK airport, I asked if they had any SS sports models in stock. I was told the closest they had was a YG YMII. Back down here in Singapore, I had a look in three ADs yesterday and found a single black dialled EXP II, a SS YM II, a TT YM, an Air King and a TT Daytona. I don't know what it's like in the UK and US but I did the stock levels here unbelievable. If I was looking for a watch right now, it would off to Panerai for me. *Sorry Adam, I was with Mrs Van D and Ma Van D. I'd have PM'd you otherwise.
