Looking to add some diamond earrings for my wife (she has no interest in a watch

). My wife’s ring is color F and clarity VS1.

I was shown some earrings in the F-H range but SI1 and SI2 clarity.

My initial thought is I should stick to similar color and clarity as her ring. But wondering if being on the ear where no one will look closely is different than the hand, and the clarity isn’t as big a deal.

Has anyone else gone through this process?
