For these distances I only wear one pair of compression socks and one pair of shoes, one could have a dropbag placed at an aid station and switch shoes if desired, but I haven't needed that yet.
My feet are usually pretty banged up

Sure thing, and I do wear my Rolex while running, just not for something extreme like this, but it could definitely handle it.
