Will a Daytona Fix This?

I love my moon watch, but I'm having trouble with it, and I'm wondering if a Rolex chronograph will have the same problem? I start the Omega to time an event, no problem. The large second hand starts with a sturdy, "CLICK."

About an hour or two later (some times more), I look down to see what time it is, and the chronograph hands are still circling, with no earthly clue as to why.

Will a Daytona do this?
