Should I Be Disappointed?

When you take your watch to an AD to get serviced. Do you expect to receive the watch back after the service set to the correct time, day and date?

I recently took my Seiko to my local Rolex AD, because I want to build a relationship with them to get the movement serviced. It’s not an expensive watch. It was my Dad’s and I wear it every day so it’s valuable to me. But when I went in to pick it up the time, date and day was not set. The watch has a quick date set but the day display you have to spin the hands forward until you get to the correct day. I only had to advance it less then 12 hours to correct it but.

I bet if I had purchased an expensive watch from them it would be set.

What do you think?
