Removing Oysterflex

I will be getting my father a well deserved present soon and being that his favourite is the Daytona that is what I will be getting him. I would really like to get him the white gold on oysterflex with steel dial, my question is how easy is it to remove the oysterflex bracelet? I would assume it is similar to removing a strap or bracelet? The reason I ask is because it will be his only watch and in a black tie setting I believe he’ll want a strap.
