FS: 1970 Tudor 7016/0 Snowflake Sub w/Rare "Swiss-Only" Dial - Reduced!
**The information and pricing in this ad supersedes any previous advertisements for this watch.**
For Sale: Tudor 7016/0 No-Date "Snowflake" Submariner. Serial number 742xxx dates this piece to the year 1970. Has the original and rare "swiss-only" dial. These dials had significant paint quality issues, so most were replaced over the years. The bezel insert is a Mk4 "flat four" from the 1980's. I bought the watch as shown so I'm not positive about the hands, but I suspect they've been redone to match the dial. Condition: Condition is "good", approximately 80-82% according to the TimeZone guidelines. There are many scratches, nicks, and dings which can be seen in photos. Mechanically, the watch is presently running okay, but will need a'la carte repair or oiling of the autowind mechanism because the rotor spins during rapid manual winding via the crown. Of course this is not an issue if you just let it wind via wrist movement. Sale is for "head only". No bracelet or strap is included. Accessories: Watch only. No box or papers. Price & Terms: Asking $5995 which includes next day domestic shipping with insurance. Payment by wire transfer is preferred but paypal (plus 3% fee) may be considered if you have good references. No offers to trade, please. As far as my references, I have completed over 100 transactions with TRF members. Substantial positive feedback can be found by doing a search for my username in the "who's who" section of the forum. Please inquire if further info is needed regarding references. I do not accept returns unless watch is significantly not as depicted. Private message or email [email protected] is the best way to contact me. Thanks! |
