There are threads here on people getting them refinished. They do look kinda worn after 5 years (the matt part between the numbers gets shiny) You can buy a SS bezel for ~$50, or OEM Platinum for $285

Funny! I race yachts, I but don’t need the watch for that. We use something digital (or a stop watch) for timing when the gun goes off. But during a 300 mile race, good lume is important to know when your night shift is going to end.

I dive, but no one uses a watch for diving – that is what dive computers are for.

As for price, all used models gravitate towards the SS price. If the Rolex is not SS, it is overpriced. So a Platinum YM ends up priced where a SS sub would be – maybe less for the albinoish version YM.
