Help needed on a 18238 Vignette Dial

Hi guys
I have recently been offered the chance to acquire a nice Rolex 18238 President Day Date with a Blue Vignette Dial. Everything seems to check out except for some lingering doubts of the dial.
The reason why I have some doubts about the dial is the consistence of the letterings, especially the "D" on the "Day-Date" text, as well as the word "CHRONOMETER" where the "C" seems to close to the "H" and the height of the entire word.
In other words, I am wondering now whether the dial has been refinished.
That said, when the seller brought this to a grey dealer shop and the owner of the shop even praised the condition of the dial.
I would therefore like to seek the collective wisdom of the experts here to see what you guys think about the dial please?
Thanks all in advance.
