Rolex 116610 dial question

I know this is going to make some people cringe, but I’ve got a couple of questions. I acquired a 2010 sub. It was made to look like the 116619 white gold and I obviously don’t like it, but it was too good of a value to pass up. Everything else on the watch is fine. My question is, should I be patient and wait for someone to sell the black dial and insert? Or send to Rolex and let them replace the parts? I can’t seem to find a price for what it may cost at Rolex, but believe I can get the parts myself for about a grand. I’m seeking your opinions though. I can’t be the first guy that’s done this and wanted to go back to original. Thanks in advance.
