Hi, if you posts pics here, we should be able to tell by looking at the serial number. Most counterfeits have lazer etched serial numbers which appear different than the factory stamped serial numbers. Some counterfeiters also stamp the numbers, but they never match the factory Rolex stampings.
Look forward to some pics if you have a good macro camera. Also, an authorized dealer should be able to help verify the serial number. You can also have any reputable watchmaker restore the matt finish to the lugs. Hope this helps. John
