First off, telling you the AD would of done you no good. They won't deal with a phone call. If you call and ask they will completely blow you off as they play by the rules and deal with people in town.

Secondly, Flippers are everything that is wrong with watch collecting at the moment. The point of the post was to try to encourage people to avoid paying 12K. I would be quite a hypocrite if I bought a watch just to flip it now wouldn't I. Also, if 3k is that big a deal to you, you should really think before spending 9k on a luxury good that is 100% an emotional purpose.

thirdly: I may have overestimated my ease of acquirance with everyone else's. I waited 18 months for a daytona vs. 4 weeks for a blnr being offered. My logic was, hey, doesn't seem that hard. But reading through the comments think I just got lucky with good timing. But I stand by some of my remarks above. My AD knows I don't flip, so I think that helps. But sorry to anyone struggling to get one that I came across flippant to.

fourthly: Don't need to be scolded and called a liar by someone who just joined on here when watches got hot.
