Questions about buying a 97200 braclet from rsc
My sub c clasp got really badly damaged to the point it's not worth fixing.so I phoned rsc London and they said a glidelock clasp is 1200 pounds .and said for an extra 300 pounds I can get the full braclet 1500 pounds here in London.anyway my question is the original clasp I had on my 2012 sub c is the old style sand blasted ,but the replacemt is polished as they discontinued the old style (So much better).this will make the watch non period correct as only the new subs from late 2015 onwards that have the new style non double outlined Rehaut engraving has the polished clasp.would this bother you guys that the watch will not be period correct anymore due to the clasp?im suprised rolex would not keep old clasps in stock.
Was thinking of buying used one on here with the sand blasted clasp as they come up for sale often, but people are selling used ones for more than Rolex sell new ones for |
