AD permanent link removal?
So after a lot of digging around on this forum - which is brilliant by the way! - I’m pretty sure I need a permanent link removing from the 6’oclock side of my brand new 31 datejust oyster bracelet, to make the watch sit in the centre of my wrist.
The AD (goldsmiths) have already said they can’t do it, but will call Rolex and ask their opinion if I go in and let them have a look. It’s a fair distance away, so before I do... Does anyone know... Should the watch be sent to Rolex for them to do it? I’ve read that some ADs offer this service? I have 4 permanent links in each side, and another 2 removable links in the 12 o’clock. The watch is sitting on the outside of my wrist (see photo). I’m more than a bit disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust it without having to send it back! Is that right?! I’ve been wearing it for 2 weeks but it’s just not sitting comfortably. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any help would be much appreciated 😊 Thanks! |
