State Trooper

I was driving down the highway going pretty fast maybe 20 miles over the speed limit, I see in my rear view mirror blinking lights so I sped up another 20 miles per hour finally after 5 minutes I pull over, the State Trooper comes up to my window and says sir do you know you were speeding going 40 miles per hour over the speed limit? I said yes officer but I have a good reason! The Trooper says to me if you give me a reason I have not heard before I will let you go! I said well officer about 15 months ago my wife ran away with a State Trooper and when I saw the lights I thought you were trying to bring her back, he looked at me and said Be on your way!
