Does size really matter...??

Greetings all.

I just purchased and received my first Rolex, an Explorer II....

Actually let me give you some quick background info. Though I do not have large wrists, I have been wearing nothing but a 44mm Panerai 111 for the last couple years. Before that I wore a 42mm Omega Aqua Terra.

Ok, back to the Rolex. I am wearing it as I type right now and my eyes can't seem to adjust to the smaller size (I realize it has only been on the wrist for a couple of hours!!). It almost looks like I am wearing a ladies size watch. No offense to the ladies of course.

Has anyone else experienced this? Please tell me that I am suffering from some rare form of premature exaggeration size deficiency and that I will get used to the smaller size quickly and not be bothered by it.

Hopefully some of the Rolex/Paneristi here can relate?

Cheers.

Josh
