Polar Explorer II - 16550 Question

Hi everyone-

It's been YEARS since I have visited this forum, and I am currently thinking of purchasing a 1986 Explorer II 16550 with a nice creamy patina'd dial. I have a question about the dial and if it is genuine. I can't find a lot of information about it, so I will describe it here and try to attach a picture. The dial has BLACK markers instead of the white gold that was used on (most) of the white dials with the patina issue. I can't find any reference of the black markers used. Does anyone know, or could someone point me in the right direction to find out if it is legit?

Thanks in advance!
