Relatively useless post on ADs in Europe

Hi,

My wife and I struggle to understand this craze over SS Rolex watches (we've bought an 114060, 116610LN and an 116610LV, it seems, relatively simply from ADs in the US and so we assume, by sheer luck over the last three months).. We're now on a trip to Europe and have stopped in London and Paris. We've visited several ADs (4 in London, 2 in Paris), and they almost laugh at us when we ask what's available. One offered an Explorer (black dial), but that was it. Watches of Switzerland on Regent in London said it was useless to be on their list for GMTs, and that they could maybe source us a SubC w/ and w/o date in "12-18 months", which was the only thing they could really offer.

Anyway, just figured I'd let you in on that little observation.
