Introduction

Hello Everyone!

Long time lurker/admirer/etc. Finally broke into the Rolex market today with the arrival of my new (to me) GMT Master II 116713! This has been a watch on my radar for the past 6 months (as have many others). Originally I wanted my first watch to be a DJ41 but really grew fond of the sport watches. I finished my Bachelors in December and decided to make the purchase.

I eventually plan to pass the watch down to my future... way future kid. But for now, it's a great reminder that I finished something I never thought I was capable of.

Outside of watches I love motorcycles and cars. Unfortunately, like watches, these are both really expensive hobbies; which forces me to enjoy them in moderation... for now.

I've already been shown how helpful this forum can be, as I was almost traded a fake DJ41. Hopefully I can become just as knowledgeable and pass that favor on. I look forward to chatting with everyone and enjoying this passion!
