The multi-timezone capability of the GMT is perfect if you travel or have need of tracking another zone. The maxi-dial of the LV is nice IMO and the ability to substitute a black insert gives a measure of versatility.

Both use the same base movement so that's a wash. As stated, togehter they make a great pair.

Agree Mike swings and roundabout but upgrade I think not,if you thing about it most Rolex sports,use the cal 3135 or clones of that movement. So in reality the only upgrade is the price in SS, or again price in precious metals etc.
