Newbie Prep - AD's pricing and model waits

Hey folks -

Trying to be prepared as possible for our first purchase...ladies and mens, celebrating a mid life thing.

I'm a bit confused on the AD front...couple of questions if you'd be so inclined to help.

We're likely going to be looking at DateJust, Explorer I, maybe a couple of other options...generally 'basic' watches to keep MSRP under $10k per.

For those general types...

1. Whats the MSRP to AD actual? Typically at MSRP for volume watches like these?

2. I know its wildly variable, but generally are these types of watches more available?

3. IT seems that pricing on newer GM in these types of watches is pretty close to MSRP pricing and seems like if thats the case, AD purchases offer some advantages.

Would welcome any thoughts and any further perspectives you might share on how to further prep for the purchase. We've researched the AD's we're likely to use but will likely be traveling out of state for the purchase (sales TAX) and would like to be as ready as possible.

THANKS in advance!
