New to Rolex New to the Forum

Bought my first Rolex today from an individual seller....Here's my story. I am on the waiting list at a couple of my local ADs for a GMT II Batman, but while I wait I decided to test the second hand market. I found a seller through a luxury items online reseller. We met at an AD who looked it over and told us it looked authentic but if I wanted to know for sure I could pay $95 send it in for a diagnostic check and wait a few weeks for the answer. I was also able to trace the sales history of the watch back to the sales person who sold it in 2015 and he vouched that he sold the watch originally to the person I was talking to regarding the purchase. My excitement of owning my first Rolex might have dulled my judgement a bit, but with the ADs endorsement and after talking with the original sales person I took the plunge. I am now the proud new owner of a 2015 Hulk. Looking forward to learning and contributing to the forum.
