eBay scam?
I've got the Daytona on eBay because they have a $20 maximum final value fee promotion going on, so I figured, hey, why not?
So, this guy emails me (through eBay) and asks if "the product is still available." That's my first clue. I said yes, he then asks for my lowest price. I looked up the account, and it seems that everything he's bought in the past, although it has excellent feedback, are cheap items and much of the feedback, although from different users, is the exact same text. Could that be a clue? I knock off $100 and he says OK and then sends me this: New message from: gaominglin1686 (117Turquoise Star)Which sets off another set of warning bells, because why does he not want to go through eBay to complete the transaction, and he should already know the item number since he is presumably, you know, messaging me about it. Weird. I can't help but assume that he's trying to defraud me.
