your less than one year old GMTIIc just stops?

Other than time to get a new watch. Its 3:40 pm est. I've been wearing the watch all day (since 6 am) and I noticed that it was stopped. This has happened from time to time. Odd? Is there a winding procedure I should use? Anyone have this experience or do I just take it to a dealer for review and repair. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
