I have a 6.75” wrist and thought the 15400 was a little bulky on my wrist, so I sought out a 15450. A couple of my friends told me beforehand that I wouldn’t like it because the proportions are off. I found an AD with both the silver and grey dial in stock, and well... my friends were right.
It’s a beautiful watch and it probably fits me better than my old 15300 even, but the case proportions just struck me as off balanced. Even though the case fits well, I was struck by the thickness of it and also how small the dial is. The bracelet is also quite... dainty feeling. As much as it pained me to leave the AD empty handed, it just isn’t the watch for me. Perhaps the 38mm chrono will be the perfect fitting AP for me. So, I don't think the 15450 will be the next big thing because the size is too polarizing. I really think it works best on 6.5" and smaller wrists. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
