SS sub, TT sub, seadweller or GMT?
Hopefully you don't find this to be an odd question, but this is my second post and though will continue to read and learn from this site, I thought I'd ask for you opinion on the above watches.
I am new to Rolex, never had one, but have an interest in all of the above, pre-owned. I will need to be patient to find a clean watch at a good price, but that's ok. I think i wouild be ok with any of the above watches but wonder what recommendations you might make. I realize this is a personal preference but you might have suggestions or comments that will sway me one way or the other. The SS sub is a std that I'm sure I can't go wrong with. The TT blue face sub has always been a favorite, though I wonder if it might be a little flashy for my conservative nature. Similar in some ways and priced lower than the TT is the SS GMT. It has the striking looks with the blue/red that catches my eye, but don't know much about that model. Last, a seadweller, which looks to be the same as the SS sub to me. Not sure of the difference. I mention this one b/c a used one showed up for $3400, 3 yrs old, box and all papers/orig receipt, so that seems like a good buy. Anway, I have work to do to narrow it down, but in a way, i'm only considering 3 different looks. Any suggestion/recommendations for a newbie? |
