Another sub date vs no date question
Here me out fellas.
I currently own a 2010 model 116610 which I purchased pre-owned. I have been offered a brand new 114060 from my AD tax free. Should I sell the 116610 and replace it with the 114060? I should be able to sell the date for about $12,000 local currency and buy the new no date for $9,000. In terms of preference between the two models, I would say I lean very, very, very slightly towards the date version. The reason I prefer the date is because it gives the watch a little more Rolex bling and deep down I will always know it is the more expensive out of the 2. But the no date is new with warranty, would have my name on the card, obviously be in mint condition and I can bank 3k difference. I also have little to no use for the date as it is a weekend watch and I have dress watches to wear during the weekdays. What are you thoughts? Cheers. |
