Before using a review/blog site to make your point, you should check the validity of its claims.
Cermet was used long before AP even knew what it was – they probably had to ask and pay RADO for their assistance.

As for what Rolex may’ve done for customers at their request, the point remains that Hublot were the first to sell rubber strapped gold watches by design – in 1980.
