Dropped 16570 on to tile ... help please

Hi guys,

So after many years of wearing and collecting Rolex, it finally happened, my explorer 2 16570 took what I perceived as a nasty fall in a lapse in concentration.

To make matters worse it dropped on to tile, my heart shattered into a million pieces just watching it happen, particularly as I’m so careful with all my pieces.

The potential good news is that apart from a small but fair dint on one link, everything else seems completely fine, not another scratch on it.

I wanted to tap into some knowledge here and ask whether it’s advisable for me to take it in for an inspection to make sure internals are ok? As it’s only been roughly 12 hours since it fell it’s hard to say, as the watch seems to be running completely fine at this stage, doesn’t seem to be making any strange noises either.

I’m always confident that Rolex are built to last but I can’t help but be bugged by the thought that something may be wrong. Or Am I just being over protective ?

Any help is much appreciated cheers guys!
