Keen's Steak house is a true keeper in this category ... one of the original steak houses in NYC Very good food and service without being rushed . Not fancy it has its historic atmosphere in spades

Mortons is on the other side if the spectrum .. high end ,posh , pricey But they serve great food. May still have Cigar area ?

Peter Lugers in great neck is easier all around vs Brooklyn - same food different atmosphere particularly the patrons
