I voted for the Hulk.
GMT shall be in steel or gold. Not both

I would have said the opposite. With time zones, the GMT is the more practical. The only place where the Sub has the advantage would be in a professional diving role using the bezel for timing. How many people use their sub for that these days. Not many. The GMT can be used for diving but the bezel is useless for that. But it will go under water easily. So for most people the GMT would be more useful.

The GMT bezel is certainly more versatile. Besides the TZ function it can be used as an ET gauge just like the Sub's ring can. Of course, I wouldn't use it for diving because it is bi-directional, but for parking meters and BBQing the GMT can time things within 1 1/4 minutes, plenty close enough for me. And the 24 hour hand makes it a bit better as a compass.

Can't disagree with you there. That's good logic.

The Green is real. And for some reason I can't bring myself to part with mine. Something about that watch makes it worth keeping.

I think OP needs to decide which he likes the looks of more. That is what it really comes down to.

The green dial and bezel are simply not for everyone. I was at the AD today and both myself and the sales woman agreed it was not our cup of tea.

I do think it would be awesome on St Patty's Day :)

Assuming same condition gmt TT is usually at least $500+ higher in price, so you might be getting a better deal on the gmt. Tough one to decide in terms of looks, both are very nice if you wear a suit often I'll go gmt TT.

I have a ss gmtiic now, and I'll get a hulk some time later...

Needed soething more versatile, and appreciate the gmt function... I don't dive, and I think the glide lock clasp, while awesome, is a bit long looking....

Can't get enough of those shades of green tho!

How is the hulk more practical than a watch that can do 3 time zones? It can also go underwater and dive at all normal depths. The GMT is definitely more practical than the Sub any day of the week.

However, OP should go with gut and if the Green Sub is what he has been wanting, then he should get it because he will never be satisfied with anything else and will only flip something else to get the sub later.
