Oysterflex Questions

Been really fancying the RG YM on OF. Was told by the boutique that they are measured to fit each wearer.

For those of you that purchased in the secondary market, how was it sized?
Do you have to buy a new one? How do source a new bracelet? What’s the cost?

You can take it to an AD and they'll be able to size your wrist and sell you the correct side or sides to the Oysterflex. They'll likely retain your old unit(s) in trade. Retail is around $260 per side.

Thanks... so about $500 for both sides.

Any ideas on how much a new deployment clasp will cost?

I think the OF pair is going to be closer to $600. The clasp is going to be difficult. I put my OF on a sub and my AD couldn't or wouldn't get me the clasp only, I had to purchase an entire bracelet - yeah, that stung a bit.

You have to keep in mind the OF is not technically sold as an accessory. It strap for a model set, all of which come with a clasp already. While my AD is cool like that, I still ask other ADs that I wander into on work trips about a clasp or OF pair. Nearly all of them refuse to even sell the rubber, which is silly to me.

Good luck.

I bought mine BNIB from Thanh Do. It came with EE/EF. It was a bit snug. I took the watch and warranty card to the NYC RSC and they resized it free of charge. They replaced the EF with EG and kept the EF.

It will look strange on the Pepsi GMT.

However, if you get the smarty endlinks, it will look great.

I'd find your size at the AD, then make sure you buy one with that oysterflex size. They are not hard to find on the secondary, so just buy one with the correct size
