High MSRP, low resale. One of them needs to adjust, the MSRP in my opinion is what needs to move.

Right! I'm not being petty, so I really hope I didn't come across that way - and if I did I want to apologize as it is not my intention! I just really think they look like Skagen designs.

Skagen designs are beautiful, IMHO

I heartily agree, that's a beauty!

Although VC's are not represented as often as PP/AP, I'm sure they have a loyal following. I've admired VC's for many years and the few times I've been lucky enough to examine them up close, the workmanship, fit and finish, weight and "feel" are class *A*. I'm not sure if they're durable and reliable however, I have not reason to think otherwise.

Price is also a factor which has prevented me from adding onep to my 'collection'. Every facet of the VC brand scores top points in my opinion.

Mark

Had an AP ROO Diver for a wee while, that was the only one that appealed. The second gen overseas I like a lot, especially with the blue dial, great value on the secondary market...Quite like the Patek Pilot, but not at that price...There are way more appealing IWC's, Omegas, Blancpains, JLC's Seiko's to chose from, but I'm the sort of person who'd rather own 12 X $5K watches than 1 X $60k watch

I would take a VC overseas over a Daytona any day.

But, thats where my interest stops.

I have both. The VC Overseas Chrono is a much nicer watch than the Daytona. There really is just no comparison, in my view.

Except the Overseas is 42.5mm and very thick. I wanted to get one but the size always seemed too big.

I've owned a couple of Skagens in the past. No resemblance to APs.

just never liked the aesthetic....I don't know why, but the bracelet and bezel remind me of Klingons from Star Trek or some sort of cyborg type thing (again, no idea why but they do lol)

Good God the new Overseas is stunning....in particular in this blue dial. I think VC might be one of the coolest brands out there. I also love the Patrimony and the 56 lines.

Pure madness for douchebags.

Back to VC, I wouldn’t mind owning a vintage 222. Those are nice watches.
