DJ 41mm blue dial is different?

Hi,

I remember seeing a thread talking about the DJ 41mm blue dial is different than others meaning there is a 30 mark at the 6 o’clock and Swiss made on both side.

Can someone please reply with that thread?

Thanks.

I don't a link to the thread but you may be thinking of the photo I posted in it. This shows the dial to which you refer. I know there are newer ones with the crown, but this is my DJ41 with the new movement.

My 2019 blue dial has the crown in-between Swiss made. However, the 2018 silver dial one does not.

Interesting. I was not aware that the 126334 had two dial versions. I thought all new 3235 movement watches had the crown at six.

Did Rolex add a coronet to the Datejust 41 below the 6oClock
https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?sha...9&share_type=t

You probably mean this one from earlier this year. My datejust 41 has the 30

Just noticing from the photos it is not just the crown that is different but also the span of swiss made. The crown version uses two seconds less dial space.

Actually just noticed if look you closely at the 30 dial the 28 and 32 are still there just smaller under the Swiss and made. On the coronet dial the 31 and 29 are not there at all.
Frankly never thought to compare this before but the dial with the 30 is more symmetrical and still has a way to see the all the seconds.

I would murder several people to have a steel sub with that gorgeous blue sunburst. Hell, I'd injure several people to have a white gold sub with that sunburst. I'd probably own a Smurf already if it had the same dial as the Bluesy.

(In hindsight, this post was off-topic and surprisingly violent.)

To me the small markers under the Swiss Made on the 30 looks odd. It is cleaner with the crown and no markers underneath.

Surprisingly, my TT bought a month or so ago has the “30” dial. So don’t know when Rolex changed the dial or just changed on certain DJ41s.

Rolex website shows all faces with the crown. Seems they are not producing "SWISS 30 MADE" anymore.

The MK1 dial of the DJ41 is what you want and it will be the next hype for sure.

My 2019 DJ41 with Rhodium dial has a Crown at 30 seconds and no 29 or 31 second markers just Swiss Made either side of the Crown

Maybe I should put my DJ41 with the "MKI dial" in the safe. If I can get some stickers on line for it I can make a fortune.

Purchased mine new on 9/12/18. I believe All wimbledon SS had the 3235 and the crown. Other dial colors with the new 3235 in SS started production without the crown.

The crown logo on the new DJ41 happened mid production as it did with the SD43, all have the new 3235 movement but some early ones do not have the updated dial.

With the introduction of the new 3235 movement the DJ41 was released with the MK1 dial first and after some time the MK2 dial was introduced.

The MK1 dial has the "30" minutes number below the 6 o'clock marker.
The MK2 dial has a Rolex crown below the 6 o'clock marker.

The swiss made print and the dashes at the 28 - 29 and 31-32 seconds are also different.

Just look at the pictures in this topic and it should be clear.

Those differences you can also find on other models with the new 3235 movement.

Different dial fonts/updated dial.

It happens on many Rolex watches at certain times - nothing more nothing less, and doesn’t change what’s inside the watch.

Mk I.
You can see the number "30" at the bottom.
Don't get overly excited about it though as it's of very little consequence but more of a novelty than anything

Who knows what the next generation of obsessed watch guys like us will find “collectible” but it’s a minor change. The movement is what counts and this really does go 70 hours. I usually switch to my sub on Friday and it’s still ticking Monday morning 62 hours later.

I notice that also while researching the DJ41 126300. I just got mines last Friday with 05/19 warranty card and it has the crown at the 6 o'clock...
