BlackBay58 & Straps

Hey folks,

Soliciting strap pairings for the BB58. I’m not smitten by the OEM strap, and actually don’t find that most two-stich vintage straps go well with it at all.

So far my favorite is the brown JPM suede strap, which perfectly compliments the gilt accents and, most importantly, adds a ton of character of its own to the ensemble.

Anyone try alligator or any other straps they think make the watch sing? Would love some ideas!

p.s. Was thinking about this alligator from ABP Concept in Paris. Hesitant to pull the trigger though, as I’ve never seen it on alligator and these cost more than a shinny penny. https://www.abpconcept.paris/collect...trap-alligator

Looks like a nice strap but the link doesn't show a 20MM to fit your BB58.

This is true. But fortunately ABP can custom make them at any size and thickness using the any of their leathers.
