Show us your prized autographs and movie memorabilia

I've never really been a big autograph person but I am a huge movie buff and back in the late 90s to early 2000s, I was working with serval studios and just got obsessive in acquiring film posters of my favorite films. Great part was at the time I had access to prolifically signed posters since people at the studio always had access to them ect and would usually sell them for extra money, especially during the tech crash. Had them in storage for nearly 15 years and finally got around to documenting them for certification and there are really some gems in there. One of my fav signatures is Quentin Tarantino from my full cast signed True Romance poster where Quentin signed and quoted " See you in the biz!" Mind you this was 1993 and was Quentin's first sold script and entry into "The Biz". Good stuff.

Anyway, feel free to post your favs.

The only autographs I have are here on this set list I got from Wayne Hussey (Sisters of Mercy - The Mission) right after a concert. On the backstage I got Craig Adams and Simon Hinkler authographs but somehow I could not get from Wayne. I've always been a huge fan since the early days, so getting the real set list signed from the original band members on a show that blew my mind when I was 20 years old is something that brings very nice memories.

I’ve never asked for an autograph. It would be demeaning, for me to ask.

My son, when he was young asked an NBA player for one when we saw him at the mall. He was rudely told no. Years later when that player was retired and forgotten about I saw him at the mall just waiting to be asked. But no one knew who he was. It was funny to see actually.

I’m not into asking people for their signature either.

But I do like that stuff. Ive got a few cool ones I sought out and paid for. But I’m not at home tonight. I’ll snap some pics when I get home.

I asked Joe to sign this when I was a kid. I was with my mom and used her day planner. He couldn't have been nicer.

When I was 7, sent a letter to my favorite 'TV Star', telling him how funny I thought he was.
About a month later, I got this back in the mail.
Considering how youthful the penmanship must've appeared, it was pretty decent of the guy to answer back.
I have similar, much more 'valuable' items, but this one holds a special place.

I got a bunch of stuff... I collect original illustration and Screen Printed Movie posters (No lithos).
I just got this hand drawn pencil comp for a poster of the movie Annihilation by a well known illustrator.

I used to like the Sisters of Mercy too! Saw them while at school, a long time ago, in the mid 80s. Temple of Love was my favourite track. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

I once got a personal signed X-mas card from my countries Queen Beatrix.
Nice gesture and appreciated but ended up in the "old paper basket" like all the other cards because what to do with it.
Did not make a picture of it either.

Are you related to Joe? Based on your screen name I figured you might be.

I dated a girl that was in production when I lived in LA and I have 2 movie stills from the Unbearable Lightness of Being. The are poster size but not posters but actual blown up photographs from the production.

I’m not at home so I took these off the web and they aren’t very good but the same pictures

Thanks. My best friend's older brother and his girlfriend knew John Lee. We all had back stage passes to a show. This pic was taken right before the show, which he interrupted to say hello to the family. What a night.
