When I do wear the Daytona I think it looks nice but don't seem to enjoy it like I used to. I don't know, perhaps I'm just bored with it being another black dial watch or maybe the hype of the Daytona has put me off. It just feels like a lot of money sat there that could be put towards something that feels like it's special and worth the perceived value of the Daytona, if that makes sense.

Well certainly looks like you have put some thought into that. Have you considered having Rolex change it out to a white dial?

If that won’t do it, then maybe time to move it on and prices are good. I have had good offers on mine so shop it around. I have serious issues with mine (excessive shine, poor legibility) but find the white dial very versatile and seems to fit the bill as a great vacation watch.
