Aftermarket strap fit

I’ve bought two after market straps, one from AP Bands and another from Strapaholic. I have had a hard time getting the strap on the watch, it just doesn’t seem like it lines up to get the screw all the way through. I actually bent my screw trying to force it and scratched my case with a slip of the screw driver .

It doesn’t seem like it should be that hard! Any advice on how to get them to fit? Should I just stick with OEM at $290 a pop?

Also, any place in particular you recommend picking up extra screws? I was able to bend it back and get my OEM strap back on, but probably wont wear it until I get new screws in there.

I had serious trouble getting an alligator AP Band to fit properly on my ROO. The alignment of the holes was off by a couple of mm. I think I spent 30 min working the edges of the strap against my desk to soften it until I was able to barely squeeze the screws through.

As for replacement screws, you can google for aftermarket screws or call AP service center in Florida and they'll send you a sent (hopefully for free)
