I have two Tudor Black Bay Bronze watches and they is fine. I would not buy one from Rolex.

No bronze. But I’d look at a high quality of titanium in a dssd.

Bronze is the perfect material for someone that appreciates patina, the Sea, old ships, etc. It is one of my favorite watches. They do not turn your wrist green, as the case back is always SS. The metallurgical formula for the "Bronze" in modern watches is such that the case will develop a darker and faint green in the edges, but not deteriorate the actual case. I wanted to dabble with a Bronze watch and therefore bought a Steinhart. It is a very nice watch and I enjoy it as much as my Rolex watches.

In the Olympics I'd much prefer a Silver or Gold medal. Bronze would be the least preferred.

Have a look at Tudor Bronze watchbacks, they don't look S/S to me.

This would be pretty cool to see but I couldn't imagine Rolex actually doing it. Bronze just isn't premium enough of a metal for them. I mean could you imagine your Rolex corroding shortly after spending all that money.
