Won’t hurt it. I don’t run my chronos constantly as a second hand. However I do use my chrono frequently sometimes many times a day as part of my job which timing various tests is a requirement.

There is another side to running chrono constantly. Watch is less accurate when chrono running. Also, you are technically adding much more wear and tear to movement by constantly running it so ostensibly you are heading toward needing service sooner rather than later. Your watch,do what you will, but just something to think about.

That is not so with the in-house Breitling chrono. Something to do it being a vertical clutch. I know that to be the case with the Avenger Hurricane XB1210.

Correct. The B01 chrono may be ran constantly. Power reserve will take an impact if running while sitting. I like to run my chronos while wearing them. I typically stop them when not in use.

If I wear one of my Chronographs I run the second hand. I like to watch the watch move.

That’s a question I’d like answering. Does running the chrono reduce the reserve time on the B01?

Running the Chronograph all the time promotes wear in the long run. Better to leave it stopped at 12 if you care about the long term life of your watch.

Now with my permanent collection, since I will keep the watches forever, I do not care. If I have to service them a little more often, so what. I pay for a Chronograph, I want it running :)
